For students in Years 7 and 8 (KS3), our homework schedule is designed to give students more ownership over their learning. All homework is assigned on Monday and collected the following Monday. This provides students with the flexibility to manage their time throughout the week and develop essential independent revision skills, which are crucial for success as they progress to KS4.

| Homework is set at the discretion of the class teacher and will take a variety of forms depending on the unit, topic or course. Homework will be a minimum of 60 minutes per week per subject and may include self directed revision. |
To further support our students in the completion of homework, we hold Academic Catch-Up sessions every Wednesday afternoon during periods 5 and 6. These sessions are staffed by subject specific experts and are a supportive environment for students to catch up on any work they may have missed, preventing gaps in their knowledge and understanding.
Homework is set on ClassCharts, enabling families to support their child in managing their learning. You can find the whole school homework calendar below, sorted by date due. Clicking on an entry will enable you to see the details of the homework set.
