Our Vision
Our school has high expectations and an ethos of “enjoy, respect, achieve”. Our teaching staff is highly effective and we offer unparalleled opportunities to our students. We aim to provide every student with an outstanding education that will help them develop skills not only inside the classroom but also outside, so that they can flourish throughout their school years and beyond. Our goal is to produce “game-changers” who will make a difference in the world.
Our Ethos
Enjoy – we value a love of learning and we promote the characteristics that make lifelong learners such as curiosity, hard work, critical thinking and a thirst for knowledge.
Respect – we champion character traits that will ensure our learners make the world a better place, such as empathy, tolerance and kindness.
Achieve – we empower our learners and support them in building the attributes that will help them overcome obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving their potential, such as resilience, confidence and courage.
At our school, we believe in working together across all educational phases to improve and enhance our provision for students. We place a strong emphasis on arts and culture to help our learners express themselves, understand one another, and become responsible global citizens. Our school benefits from a supportive community in Horsham, and we strive to contribute to the wider community as well.
About BET
At BET, we provide innovative, high-quality education for children aged four to 18. We are a multi-academy trust (MAT) of non-fee paying schools, working together with shared values and vision to ensure consistency and excellence for all our students. Driven, ambitious game-changers, we set the highest expectations, and nurture students’ individual talents and interests to help them achieve their full potential.
BET is ambitious. We aim to transform how education is delivered in schools across the country and beyond by sharing the best practice we have pioneered in our own schools. We are keen to share this vision with other primary and secondary schools at every stage in their development. Please see Our Approach and Joining BET for more information. At Bohunt Horsham we incorporate the Trust’s ethos into an all-through learning establishment, in order to offer equal opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential.
