On a bright and sunny Wednesday morning, the students of Bohunt Horsham went for a walk. However, it was not just any walk. They participated in a 12km riverside walk through Horsham, all in support of the local charity Home-Start CHAMS. It was heartening to see a sea of smiling faces as they walked and chatted with their peers, teachers, and passers-by, all to raise money for the less fortunate. The members of the public also had some lovely comments about the event.
It was amazing to see a sea of smiling faces as they walked and chatted with their peers, teachers and passers-by, all to raise money for others. And comments from members of the public were lovely
“We have just seen your students walking past on their trip this morning and I would like you to know how polite and kind they were. They were waving at our children and smiling at them whilst walking past, the nursery children were very intrigued by why there were so many of them and the preschool children were trying to count them all. You should be very proud to have such lovely, kind, and polite students.” Senior Manager, Perfect Start Day Nursery.
