Applications to join Year 7 in September 2027 are administered through West Sussex County Council. You can select Bohunt Horsham as your first preference. Our admissions policy for 2026/2027 shows that whilst we don’t operate a catchment area, children who live nearest to the permanent site on Bailey Road will be given priority.

If your child is allocated a place with us to start in September 2026, there will be opportunities to visit the school as part of the transition process.

Information on how to apply online will be sent to all parents of children living in West Sussex whose child attends a West Sussex state-funded school. You must provide an email address to apply.
31st October 2026 – National closing date for secondary transfer applications.
You must submit your completed application by this date. Failure to do so will affect the priority of your application.
If your application is received after the closing date it will be considered after reviewing all the applications received on time.
1st March 2027 – National Offer Day
All applicants who submit their application online will be emailed with the school their child has been offered.
Applicants who submit a paper form and provide an email address will be emailed with their offer later on this date.
Applicants who do not provide an email address will receive a letter by second-class post.
Applications received on or after Friday 27th November 2026 are late and outside the normal admissions round. These will not be processed until after 31st March 2027. You will be contacted after this date.
