Outdoor Education is a core element of our students educational diets here at Bohunt Horsham. We believe all students should be exposed to and have the opportunity to develop their love of the outdoors, whilst working towards the goals of the national curriculum. Where possible we encourage staff to take their lessons outdoors and allow our students to listen and observe the ever changing world around them.
Combined with the regular extra curricular experiences we offer our students through a thriving bushcraft club, trips to Jamie’s Farm and weekly trips to East Clayton Farm, the best environment to develop their love of learning and their love of nature. We will continue to embed the outdoors into our curriculum as we move to our new site and there will also be opportunities for our students to further broaden their experiences through our soon to be formed Duke of Edinburgh programme.

We are delighted to offer students a brand-new range of resources which highlight the importance of wellbeing in our approach to outdoor education. The BET Outdoor Wellbeing site focuses on supporting and improving students’ mental health and well-being with challenges and activities galore.
