Last week, Bohunt Horsham hosted a group of 16 Chinese students for their UK Exchange Programme.
On Monday morning, the students were welcomed with a ceremony in the Library. Each visitor was also assigned a buddy who they joined in lessons throughout the week.
While activities were not solely lesson-based, the students shared a typically ‘British’ lunch of fish and chips, enjoyed a visit to The British Museum on Wednesday, and had afternoon tea on Thursday, complete with bone china cups and saucers and discussions on how to correctly add cream and jam to a scone.
Friday was the leaving ceremony with certificate presentations before the visitors departed.
It was a wonderful experience for our students to welcome the Chinese students for the week and to showcase the level of hospitality and enthusiasm we are very proud of at Bohunt Horsham. We hope they enjoyed the experience as much as we did.
