On Monday, 19th February 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting the Royal Institution’s “Energy Live” show at Bohunt Horsham. Students from Years 7 and 8, along with families from various primary schools in Horsham, enjoyed the show’s exciting demonstrations featuring friction, bubbles, and rockets, among others. The show’s interactive nature allowed several students and adults to assist Gareth, the show’s energetic and entertaining presenter.
Sophie, a Year 7 student, exclaimed, “It was the best afternoon ever! I never knew you could make fire from bubbles.” Ronnie, a Year 8 student, said, “It was amazing! Gareth was so funny!” Additionally, Betty and Rosie, both eight years old, were thrilled to participate, with Betty exclaiming, “Wow! I got to make fire!” and Rosie stating, “Bohunt shows are epic! So much fun!”
This was an incredible event that was enjoyed by both children and adults, and we look forward to having more Royal Institution shows in the future.
