On Monday 5th February, our school hosted a Chinese Culture assembly where students from All Saints Primary and Warnham Primary were invited to join our year 7s and 8s in celebrating. The assembly included a vibrant and imaginative Lion Dance performance, followed by morning workshops in traditional Chinese fan dancing, kungfu, calligraphy and paper dragon making.
It was delightful to witness the students’ excitement from different schools during the Lion Dance performance. The primary school students’ participation and creativity during the workshops were exceptional.
